Motoworks Jeremie Warnia Podiums at Racetown 395 Quadcross

Adelanto, CA (7/30/2009) - Motoworks traveled north to Adelanto, Ca, where they would compete at Round #5 of the ITP Quadcross series this month. All three riders made the gates for the Sunday event at Racetown 395. With Josh Frederick still healing up from Round #3, Warnia & Smith would saddle up in the Pro class and the return of Dillon Zimmerman in the 450 EXP class. Warnia came out swinging in Moto 1 where he would trail and at times pressure Factory Yamaha's Dustin Nelson. Nelson broke the sub frame towards the end and Jeremie capitalized and took the win. In Moto 2, Nelson had another good ride out front and Jeremie rode smart and consistent to post a 6th, good enough for a 3rd O/A on the day.

Brandon Smith had a day he would like to get past. Smith settled for a 14th in Moto 1 and did not start Moto 2. Slight mechanical issues held him back on the day. Brandon has been very busy this year with the East Coast MX ATV Nationals and filling in for Frederick in WORCS & ITP. That says a lot about a rider when they suit up when asked, no questions and have the heart to ride. Brandon is a great kid, just in a little slump right now and will climb back soon.

Dillon Zimmerman managed to gear up for his return after his ugly get off in Phoenix at Round #4. Dillonv wanted to get back in the groove and see where he stood. Riding at his own pace, Dillon continues to get stronger and get back to his blitzing speed and form in his ATV racing venture. If all goes well and he feels likehe's ready to go, Dillon will be on the line at Washington on his Can-AM for the Pro-AM in the WORCS event come two weeks.

"We looked good this weekend for the most part. We've had our issues this year to say the least, but Johnny and I continue to support the efforts behind this Can-Am/Motoworks team. We had more issues today with mechanicals and crashes but overall Warnia and Smith rode well. Dillon surprised us with a request to climb back on the ATV to see where he stood and begin the process of coming back strong. I'm proud of his strength and desire to come back so soon." Ty Zimmerman of Motowork
