Las Vegas, NV (3/31/2016)
- C&R Farms/DWT/SSI Decals rider Collins
Webster put in a great effort during at hot
and difficult Round 4 of the WORCS Championship
in Lake Havasu, AZ. Webster finished fifth
in the Pro ATV race and sixth in the Pro Stock
SXS event.
Webster’s Can-Am was on rails, and after
running up front on the difficult and technical
track, he finished fifth. His consistency
thus far this season has placed him fourth
in points going into the next round. Ever
the competitor, Webster is hungry for more.

“I guess it’s a finish, but it’s not where
I think I belong,” said Webster. “It’s not
normal for me to run like this in the rough
stuff. I usually enjoy it, but it just didn’t
happen this weekend. The Can-Am worked great
and we put a lot of effort into the shocks.
The DWT Tires are always good. The bike was
great this weekend, I just had an off race.
“We got a finish and we got some points,”
added Webster. “We have a few rounds left
so we’re still in contention for the championship.”
In the Pro Stock SXS race, Webster drove
what he described as his best setup on the
car this season. With the Polaris up for the
challenge, Webster scored a sixth-place finish
after getting caught behind lapped traffic.

6th at Lake Havasu WORCS |
“We got caught up in a few problems and battled
with some cars I didn’t need to battle with,”
said Webster. “We could have done a little
better, but sixth is good. It handled and
worked the best it ever has. Wayne put in
a little different setup. We lowered the car
a little bit. It was more like a Lucas Oil
hybrid and the car worked better than ever.
“The DWT Tires were great,” continued Webster.
“They worked really well in the sand. I ran
Tire Blocks in them, so we could run a lower
air pressure and they worked perfectly here.”
Webster is going into the next race with
an eye on repeating last year’s success. “I
got my first podium at Sand Hollow last year,”
said Webster. “I started dead last, and ended
up the podium. So I’m looking forward to making
it happen again this year.”
Webster will certainly be ready for that
podium as WORCS heads to Utah April 15-17.
