Lynden, WA (1/23/2016) -
Beau Baron led a group of seven Holz
Racing Products drivers that dominated the
WORCS Side by Side competition at Honolulu
Hills Raceway. Baron led a Holz squad that
included Mike Gardner, Codey Rowley, Shelby
Anderson, Scott Yancey, Ryan Holz and Danielle
Weatherly.
Beau Baron won both the Side by Side Pro and Pro Unlimited races. The victories were Baron’s first in more than a year and helped him build momentum in his Holz built Polaris RZR.

“Last year I was having trouble with
my car setup,” said Baron. “We
made a few changes with the help of Holz and
Sparks, and I started fifth instead of eighth
or tenth. It makes a big difference when you
can start up front.”
Mike Gardner finished third in the SXS Pro
Production race, which was his first race
in the Pro class for the Holz Racer. Gardner
overcame a crash at the start to earn the
final spot on the podium. Ryan Holz was also
making his Pro debut. He was running a solid
fourth before a broken half shaft relegated
him to 10th at the finish.

Production podium in class debut |
“I imagined I’d come out here
and do well, but to finish third is unreal,”
said Gardner. “The Holz team really
helped me with setup here. This was a brand-new
car, so I’m still getting used to it,
but in the end we pulled it off.”
Codey Rowley finished second in Pro Stock in his Holz-prepared Polaris. He came out atop a three-car, race-long battle to secure the runner-up slot. “My goal was to finish in the top three, so I’m stoked,” said Rowley.
Shelby Anderson (Polaris) stepped up from the 900 Class to run Stock 1000 and won ahead of 15 other competitors, including third-place finisher and fellow Holz driver Scott Yancey.
“This was my very first time driving a 1000cc on a track,” said Anderson. “I took the holeshot and ran consistently for the rest of the race. The car was flawless…just flawless. This gives me so much more confidence going into the rest of the season.”

Danielle Weatherly kicked off the season with a win in the SxS Women's Class |
Danielle Weatherly set her sights on the championship in the SXS Women’s Class. For 2016, the women’s class utilizes the entire course and they race with the other classes.. Weatherly took the lead at the start and never looked back in taking the victory.
“I just kept my line and focused on what was in front of me,” said Weatherly. “I’m so happy right now. It’s like a breath of fresh air. Having the right equipment is always key and Holz is the best.”
Holz side by sides will return to WORCS competition January 29-31st when the Championship visits Buffalo Bills in Primm, NV.
