at Terracross Opener

Thomas drove his Mystik Polaris RZR to two podium
finishes in the opening doubleheader of Mystik
Terracross Championship at Sno Barons Hay Days.
Thomas finished second and fourth, respectively
in the two Racer Pro races. He was third and fourth
in the two Racer Vs Celebrity Shootout events.

In the first Pro RZR main, Thomas followed Jason Luburgh and held on for his first podium of the season.
“I was waiting for him to make a mistake, but he never did,” said Thomas. “He’s such a smooth driver. The track is really good this year. There was a lot more room to pass with many more lanes. They have almost three lanes in every corner, which makes for some good racing. This is a good start. Jason is the defending champion, so we’re gunning for him.”

The second Pro RZR main featured an inverted start. “Carnage” was the word of the day, and Thomas charged his way from the back of the pack to finish fourth.
“Everyone piled up at the start,” said Thomas. “It felt great to come all the way from the back to fourth. The championship is going to be tight this year.”
Thomas also enjoyed success in the two Racer Vs Celebrity Shootout races. The events take the top four from each of the Terracross classes, including the women, for showdown against each other in a six-lap sprint.

“This class is so much fun,” said Thomas. “We all get to go out there and battle. It was a good weekend.”
