Upperman’s Hoosier tires worked great on all track conditions over the course of the day. “The Hoosier Tires are working awesome, and we have had really good luck with them. The people at Hoosier are super friendly and awesome to work with,” stated Upperman.
Leaving Texas and looking forward to the next round, Upperman is ready to get back to training, so he can return even stronger, saying, “I am looking forward to Tennessee. I am happy with how the bikes are working. I just need to get some more training and I think we will be right there with the top guys.”
Sam Rowe also competed in the Pro class, where he took 13-14 moto finishes to take twelfth place overall. “Moto one I got a pretty decent start but was struggling a little bit on the track. I just pushed through my arm pump because I have not rode for two weeks. For the second moto, I actually got dead last on the start after two guys pinched me off. I just put my head down and charged. I actually passed up to tenth place, but my bike shut off on me on the last lap,” explained Rowe.
