Cat ATV's & Prowler's are sold nationally

of people every year |
Dallas / Fort Worth, TX (11/9/2010) -
Arctic Cat, who has always been an innovator in
the ATV and UTV industry, has recently paired up
with outdoor sporting retailer, Bass Pro Shops and
NASCAR, which recently put Arctic Cat in the NASCAR
spotlight at the Texas Motor Speedway.
Bass Pro Shops, who are the main sponsors of
the car driven by Earnhardt/Ganassi team racer,
Jamie McMurray, recently began a partnership with
Arctic Cat to sell their ATV and Side by Side
vehicles at their shops. This was a big move for
Arctic Cat as it puts the manufacturer’s
product in front of millions of potential customers
that may or may not ever set foot in an ATV dealership
and will now be exposed to Arctic Cat’s
products.
In addition to selling Arctic Cat’s vehicles,
Bass Pro Shops also carries a full line of ATV
and SxS accessories that can be purchased either
on line or in person at one of the many locations
nationwide. Another perk of Arctic Cat and Bass
Pro Shop’s relationship is that Arctic Cat,
who demands the best for its customers, had it
arranged so that Bass Pro Shops also provides
in-house service for Arctic Cat’s products,
where Arctic Cat machines are sold, so that it
can better serve its customers without the inconvenience
of having to track down a repair shop if any problems
should arise.

To help celebrate and promote its new and flourishing
relationship with Bass Pro Shops, Arctic Cat recently
organized a press event to coincide with a NASCAR
race at the Texas Motor Speedway, where NASCAR
racer Jamie McMurray would be racing in the Bass
Pro Shop’s Arctic Cat car. McMurray’s
racing credits include edging out Dale Earnhardt,
Jr. to take the win at the 2010 Daytona 500. The
race car itself featured a bold Arctic Cat logo
across both rear quarter panels and trunk lid.
Although McMurray did not win at this particular
event, it was a milestone for Arctic Cat to be
the first ATV manufacturer to be featured in a
NASCAR setting and have the attention of NASCAR
fans drawn to their brand.

Also in attendance at the NASCAR event was Arctic
Cat’s new CEO, Claude Jordan, who joined
the Arctic Cat family as president back in 2008.
Jordan has a strong background as a leader, formerly
spearheading business development for Home Depot
and General Electric before coming on board with
the U.S. based ATV and snowmobile manufacturer.
Jordan took the place of long time Chief Executive,
Christopher Twomey, who retired on October 28th
after the company released its better than expected
sales and earnings report for the second quarter.
Arctic Cat has taken marketing in the ATV industry
to new heights with its relationship with Bass
Pro Shops and NASCAR, and now, with its already
strong foundation, a new leader, and new products
on the way, it appears that Arctic Cat will be
riding out our country’s recession with
ease and growing in its wake.
