Maximum
Ground Clearance A-Arms |
Wadsworth, OH (12/28/05) - Tom Skladzien
of ATV Four-Play has introduced two new lines of products
with the release of his “MGC” (Maximum Ground
Clearance) and Mini A-arms
Their new line of "MGC" (Maximum Ground
Clearance) MX and XC Long Travel A-Arms for the Honda
450, Yamaha 450 and soon to come the new Suzuki 450
provide the maximum ground clearance and are constructed
utilizing 7/8" 4130 alloy steel tubing for the
upper A-arms and 1.00" 4130 alloy steel tubing
for the lower A-arms. The front lower tubes on the
XC A-arms are fabricated of .120" wall tubes
as well as the front shock mounts to endure more abuse.
These A-arms are tig welded, gusseted in all necessary
areas for strength and are made for maximum ground
clearance using 20 3/8" shocks on both the MX
and XC models. There is no caster adjustment required
and they are camber adjustable. ATV Four-Play’s
"MGC" series utilizes Delrin bushings with
O-rings and stainless steel bushing inserts with heavy
duty ball joints. They are available in + 1/2",
1", 2" and +3" sizes.
ATV Four-Play has also entered the mini-quad performance
ring with the announcement of their new A-Arms specifically
designed with minis in mind. Offering +3", +2"
and +1" sizes for the Polaris 50cc & 70cc Scrambler,
the Eton 50cc, the Extreme 50cc and the Kasea line of
youth quads, these A-arms are constructed of 4130 chromoly
steel tubing and are professionally manufactured and
tig welded. Their design is based on "Big Bike"
concepts with Delrin bushings and steel inserts with
grease fittings on the end of the barrel. The tie rods
are constructed of Anti-Fatigue 7/16" Hex steel.
ATV Four-Plays mini A-arms are made for the 10 1/4"
shock and are designed for the correct caster and camber
necessary for maximum handling and safety. They are
proven to reduce "unsafe darting" at high
speeds.
