Ronnie Higgerson started out the weekend by grabbing second place in the first heat. Higgerson was in fourth on lap one and battled his way to the lead on lap five. He also laid down the fastest lap of the moto on lap five, a quick 01:51.243. Higgerson held the lead until lap seven, when he dropped back to second, which is where he stayed to the checkered flag.
“It was a great battle in the heat. My Can-Am worked great and I had an awesome time,” regarded Higgerson.

Higgerson put in another solid ride in moto two. He had another good start and was in fourth through scoring on lap one. He charged to second on lap five and got into a heated battle for the lead. Although he wasn’t able to make the pass, Higgerson finished less than a second behind the leader. And the ride was good enough to give him the overall win in the Pro Am Class.
“I am so excited. I wanted a clean race with no mistakes and that’s what I did. I am so pumped to be up here. My BCS Can-Am was dialed perfect and everything went my way today,” said Higgerson from the podium.
BCS Can-Am’s Josh Creamer rounded out the top ten in the AMA ATV Pro class. Creamer had a get off in the first moto which set him back from third to fifteenth. He then pulled off a sixth in moto two after having a bad start.
Creamer is currently ranked seventh in the AMA ATV Pro Class. Higgerson holds the points lead in the Pro Am Class and also holds eighth in the AMA ATV Pro Class.
