Las Vegaas, NV (10/25/2006)
- Just one year ago, Suzuki announced the LT-R450
Quad Racer, which was released into production in
February of 2006, and in only a few months, it has
become Suzuki’s top selling ATV with over
9,000 units sold so far in 2006 with the Suzuki
KingQuad 700 in the runners up spot in sales.
For 2007, the Quad Racer 450 and King Quad 700 will
remain virtually unchanged, but the King Quad 700 now
has a little brother with the release of the all new
King Quad 450 4x4 to fill a void in Suzuki’s product
line, and it has all the features that has driven the
sales of the King Quad 700. Also, the 2 Stroke Engine
in the LT-80 has been replaced with the all new 4 Stroke
Engine Z90, which has the look and feel of the LT-R450.

Suzuki announced these exciting new ATV models along
with the rest of their product line at the Dealer Show
in Las Vegas, NV. New ATV models weren’t the only
big announcement as they also announced the signing
of pro ATV motocross racer, Dustin Wimmer. Doug Gust
and Dustin Wimmer battled to the final Moto for the
WPSA Super ATV Championship with “Digger”
Doug Gust edging out Wimmer for the championship, and
for 2007, this explosive pair will go at it again as
teammates.

Suzuki introduced their two top ATV racers to the dealers
by having them drive an ATV out on the stage with Doug
Gust riding the all new King Quad 450, which left Dustin
Wimmer on the all new LT-90. The over six foot tall
Wimmer dwarfed the the 90cc ATV as his knees nearly
touched the handlebars, which captured a few laughs
and smiles from the crowd. Wimmer took his introduction
in stride and is extremely excited to be apart of the
Yoshimura / Suzuki race team for the next two years.

Besides the two new ATV models, Suzuki representatives
hinted to the fact that several other exciting new models
will be announced in June of 2007, and one of the goals
over the next 18 months to update every utility ATV
and become apart of the King Quad brand, which includes
the current Vinson, Eigers, and Ozark models. It has
also been rumored that Suzuki might be releasing a 250
version of the LT-R450, which would be an extremely
exciting ATV release for the youth riders between the
age of 13-15, but ofcourse, this is still only a rumor
and we will have to wait till June to see if it becomes
a reality or remains just a rumor.
One thing that is a reality is Suzuki’s excitement
about Doug Gust winning the WPSA Pro MX Championship
on the all new Suzuki LT-R450 QuadRacer, and in celebration,
Suzuki announced a Championship Deal on the QuadRacer
450 with every new buyer receiving a Pro Pack Package,
which includes a set of Genuine Suzuki QuadRacer 450
Nerf Bars, 10x10 Suzuki E-Z Up Tent, and Suzuki Hat,
and this package is valued at $575.00, so this is great
time to purchase a new QuadRacer. Of course, the Pro
Pack will only be available while supplies last or until
November 1st, so don’t delay in visiting your
Suzuki Dealership before this offer expires.
