Union, SC (4/27/2014) -
From New Jersey to Indiana, and from California to Argentina, Yamaha
motorcycles and ATVs grabbed one national win and nearly a dozen additional
podiums in premier races over the April 26-27 weekend.
The weekend’s ATV nationals ranged from Saturday’s GNCC event in Indiana to
Sunday’s Yamaha Quad X series, 2000 miles to the west in Hesperia, Calif. In
GNCC competition, N-Fab/AmPro/Yamaha’s Walker Fowler scored his fourth
XC1 Pro podium of the year aboard his YFZ450R, distancing himself from most
of the pack and then making a last-lap charge to ultimately finish just 0.375 sec.
behind rival Chris Borich at the checkers.

While in Sunday afternoon’s Yamaha
Quad X Pro 450 Production event at Competitive Edge MX Park, Yamaha’s
Dustin Nelson took the holeshot and led over half of the first moto before
finishing second. He then ran second for the duration of moto two, with the 2-2
results giving him second overall for the day. Fellow Yamaha YFZ450R pilot
Tanner Gemperle went 3-3 for third overall. Congratulations to all!
