Mount Morris, PA (5/22/2014) - Round three of the 2014 Mtn Dew AMA ATV Pro Motocross Championship was held at High Point Raceway in Mount Morris, PA. The picturesque scenery and technical track hosted one of the best weekends so far this season and there seemed to be no end to the exciting racing that took place especially in the Pro-Am and Amateur classes.

Pro-Am Class has been a toss up all three rounds with three different winners. After recording the third fastest lap time during Pro Qualifying on Saturday, Jeffrey Rastrelli earned his first Pro-Am win of the season at High Point Raceway aboard his JB Racing / Can-Am DS450. Rastrelli came out strong in both Motos earning both Moto wins for the overall.

“The track was great on Sunday. We had some rain and it really helped it. I had a great time in the Pro-Am class. I am pumped to get my first win of the season,” regarded Rastrelli after the race.

Finishing second in the Pro-Am Class was BCS Performance / Can-Am’s Ronnie Higgerson. The current points leader finished with a scorecard of 2-4 to earn second overall on his Can-Am DS450. Higgerson leads the Pro-Am Class by nine points over second place Cam Covil.

Pro-Am Rookie and round 1 winner, Cam Covil, was looking great during Pro-Am qualifying as he recorded the fastest lap time to earn the number one gate pick. His preparation would become short lived as he found himself stuck together with another racer that resulted in him dropping back from second to fifteenth place.
