In Super Mini 12-15, Bryce Ford rode his number
44 machine to first overall. Ford went 2-1 for
the win, which was his fourth of the season. Ford
sits just four points out of first as the battle
for the national championship heats up.
Current Super Mini points leader, Trevor Thatcher,
swapped moto finishes with Ford to take second
overall. Thatcher won the first moto but finished
in second during moto two for second overall.
Max Lindquist rounded out the top three with
third overall after 4-3 moto finishes.
In 90 Open Sr., Lance Walker walked away with
the win after taking second in both motos. This
was a huge win for Walker, moving him into the
points lead.
Zack Decker won the first moto but came in third
during moto two for second place overall on the
weekend.
Trevor Thatcher salvaged a third place overall
finish after some issues in moto one where he
took sixth. Thatcher rebounded strong, taking
the moto two win for third overall. Thatcher is
second in the championship race but just two points
out of first.
The ninth round of the 2016 AMA ATV Motocross
National Championship will be held at Unadilla
MX in New Berlin, NY July 16-17.
