In Production 1900, Lewis Chamberland and Dean
Horne won the class for car owner Robert Beauchat
in the #1951 Suspended Fabrication Polaris. Chamberland

every class and he is also a desert racing instructor.
He competed to allow Beauchat to stay in the points
while he is in Iraq. Russell Griffin and George
Felix rounded out the top three.

1000 UTV victory at the BITD Parker 250 |
“We had a fantastic clean day today,” said Chamberland.
“We couldn’t ask for more from the whole crew.
We didn’t have to get out of the car once today.
We’re filling in for Robert to help him keep points
while he’s over in Iraq working on drones. This
is fantastic. Dean was telling me this was the
first time his car has led. Dean and I are high
school friends who ended up going into business
together. So this is like a dream come true for
us.”
Russell Griffin finished second in the Production
1900 class, followed by George Felix less than
15 seconds behind to round out the top three.

“Today was a really good day,” said Creed. “The
Arctic Cat has come a long way since we were introduced

it. We’re planning to do the whole season and
we hope things go as smoothly as they did today.
The course was fast, rough and rocky. It had it
all.”
S3 Racing’s Mal Sneed finished in the second
spot in the Unlimited class, and finished an impressive
8th overall, and the 8 year old, Max Gordon finished
