Chris Borich had a mid pack start, and in true “Borich-like” fashion gradually worked his way up toward the front of the pack. By the end of lap one, Borich had made his way into fourth place and continued to charge forward, and by the third lap, Chris Borich took over the lead. It wasn’t easy for Borich as he felt the pressure from Jarrod McClure down to the finish.
