After having to reschedule the original race date because of extreme rainfall and flooding in the area, the MAXC Officials moved the race to the following weekend, which happened to fall on Memorial Day Weekend. Despite moving the race date to a holiday weekend, over 800 racers signed up for the two-day MAXC off-road racing event in Southern Indiana.

Defending MAXC ATV Pro Champion Taylor Kiser took over the lead half way through the five lap race |
Taylor Kiser grabbed a decent start heading into the first turn and quickly moved into the number one position, which he held for one lap before Cole Richardson made the move into the number one spot. This didn’t detour Kiser as he trailed Richardson in hope of regaining the lead. Kiser was able to move back into the number one spot shortly afterwards as Richardson crashed going into a creek crossing that put an end to his race.
