“Today was probably one of the best tracks I have raced here. It was fun! Me, Marshal [Goings], Kevin [Cunningham] and everyone passed each other 10 to 15 times. It seemed like we were passing each other at least five times a lap,” said Brycen Neal

MAXC Round 6 and 7 winner Marshal Goings had a good battle with Brycen Neal at the Mid America Challenge. Goings got off to a great start at the front of the pack and would quickly take over the lead. Goings lead for the first five laps according to lap times, but what is not shown was the exciting battle that took place for the top spot on the podium. It looks as if it would be anyones race towards the end of the race, but unfortunately for Goings, he made a small mistake that put a small gap between him a Brycen Neal putting Goings in second before crossing the finish.

“Brycen just ran be down there. We were running together pretty much the whole race. We came into the lap he was leading and I was behind and I tagged a little tree and he was able to capitalize on it and he made it to the finish line before I did,” stated Marshal Goings
