Lyman, ME (6/3/2012) - The sixth
round of the NEATV-MX series was held at MX207
this weekend and was again treated with awesome
weather. The skies stayed blue and the temperatures
were high throughout the weekend. Clouds rolled
in during the second motos on race day and looked
threatening, but luckily no rain fell till later
that night. The track had a few minor changes
since the previous visit to MX207 this year, with
the change of the roller section into a sand whoops
section giving the riders more of a challenge.
The track also got dusty fast, but the staff at
MX207 did a great job maintaining the track throughout
the weekend.

Josh Creamer dominated both Pro &
Pro-Am Classes by winning all 4 motos |
BCS Performance Can Am DS450 mounted Josh Creamer
had an excellent weekend at MX207 and has finished
the first half of the NEATV-MX series with a
perfect season. Creamer flew off the line, taking
the holeshot and quickly pulled away from the
rest of the pack. “That BCS motor is definitely
flying,” commented Creamer. In the second
moto, Creamer came off the start in second behind
Preston Young, but made quick work on Young
in the first lap and took over the lead for
the remainder of the eight lap moto. “Another
week and a half of training and then we’re
going to go to Unadilla to see what we can do
back at the Nationals with the rest of the guys
and hopefully things work out for the best,”
remarked Creamer.

Tommy Lombardo placed second in Pro Class
aboard his Suzuki LTR450 ATV |
Lombardo Motorsports Tommy Lombardo started
off the first Pro moto in third and quickly
applied the pressure on Southside Polaris rider
Travis Moore. By the end of the second lap Walsh
Race Craft Lombardo was side by side with Moore
and was able to make his move into second by
the end of the third lap. Once in front of Moore,
Lombardo made some distance and would finish
the first moto in second. “Off the holeshot
in the second moto my seat fell off, so I pulled
over in the first turn, put it back on and put
a good charge in and worked my way up to third
to finish second overall,” commented Lombardo.

Brad Burbine went 4-2 to grab third overall
in the NEATV-MX Pro Class |
Mastine Motorsports Brad Burbine had some great
motos this weekend in the Pro class. Off the
gate in the first moto, Burbine would make his
way into fourth and rode hard, knowing Preston
Young was close behind. Burbine crashed early
in the moto and had to get bump started and
would finish fourth in the first moto. Off the
line in the second moto, BCS Performance Can
Am DS450 mounted Burbine would again start in
fourth. “I was running fourth for most
of the second moto, but Moore and Young both
broke down so I finished second, giving me the
third overall,” remarked Burbine.
