San Diego, CA (7/4/2014) – The
Mystic Lubricants Terracross Championship is back,
and better than ever for 2014. Series promoter,
Joe Duncan, seems to be pulling all the right
strings, as his baby "Terracross" appears
to be growing with intensity and serious momentum.
What started as a small Midwest event has grown
to include major TV coverage with a multiple airings
on CBS Sports, and is gaining bigger and better
venues as well.

All the Teracross
Championship Spec class Polaris RZR XP
1000 machines are nearly identical besides
graphics and a few accessory items
|
The Terracross Championship is a closed course
SxS Racing event designed to bring a mix of ArenaCross
and EnduroCross type UTV Racing into the public
eye. The main event is a Polaris XP1000 Pro Spec
class, these Polaris RZR XP1000 vehicles are almost
showroom stock and nearly identical. The spec
class XP's all get the same few accessories for
safety and durability, and the only difference
between them is a few bolt on accessories including
bumpers, nerf bars, doors, and racing wheels,
but otherwise they are all identical.
Every Polaris RZR XP 1000 spec vehicle is equipped
with 30" GBC Kanati Mongrel Tires, a five
point harness, a roof, and HOLZ Racing Performance
radius rods, and the drivers are allowed to adjust
ride height and tire pressure, nothing more.

One of the best things about the Terracross Championship
RZR XP1000 spec class is its competitors. Serious
UTV racers battle head to head with Powersports
industry Icons like Monster Energy snow cross
racer, Chris Burandt, and even the King of SuperCross
himself, Jeremy McGrath. Looking like a who's
who in off road racing, this year’s incredible
line-up included 2013's reigning champ RJ Anderson,
X-Games Gold Medalist Colten Moore, SX Champion
Jeremy McGrath, ATV Motocross Champ Doug Gust,
5-Time Baja 1000 winner Larry Ragland, WPSA Champion
Daryl Rath, Monster Truck Driver Dana Creech,
and BITD & BAJA Off-Road Truck Racer Scott
McFarland to name a few of the racers competing
head to head for an impressive laundry list of
off-road industry superstars.

One cool feature in the track design
was the over / under jump, which was a crowd
