“The Maxxer is a good machine. I like the fact that it’s so comfortable yet sporty enough to flick around corners. You can ride it very aggressively and not have the uncomfortable aspects of a sport quad.” Explains Erik Wilkin of the new KYMCO

The 2012 KYMCO Maxxer 450i Sport Utility ATV features large foot wells to help shield from mud & debris |
The machines ergonomics are amazing. The foot pegs and the handle bars and in the exact right position with the seat. We didn’t feel bunched up or stretched out; size doesn’t matter with the Maxxer 450i you’ll get a really comfy ride no matter how tall you are. With over 70 miles put on in a day, we found this ATV super comfortable and easy to ride for long periods.
The quad also offers some protection from the elements with the extended plastic around the foot pegs, but it won’t keep you as clean as a full on utility quad. We crossed several creeks and waterholes along the ride and the Maxxer 450i kept us moderately dry.

The 2012 KYMCO Maxxer 450i Sport Utility ATV's independent rear suspension smoothed out the rocky trails in the Eastern Sierra Mountains. Although we would like of had more ground clearance while riding the rocky trails , we we increased the adjustable suspension preload & gained more clearance |
KYMCO’s class leading sport tuned independent rear suspension really smoothed out the ride. The Maxxer 450i could use slightly more ground clearance in the rear. The plastic skid plate was quickly scratched and broken over the rough, rocky trails. We recommend adding an aftermarket skid plate if you plan to ride extreme ground.
