Hunter Miller Interview:
2010 TQRA & TORN Pro ATV Champion
ATVRiders.com:
Will you be defending your championships in
both series’ for 2011?
Hunter Miller:
Absolutely! I’ll be back as a part of
Can-Am’s X-Team again. I had a pretty
successful program last year, so I am hoping
to carry that over to this year as well.

Miller's Brother, #22 Cody Miller, claimed
the 2010 Pro & Pro-Am NEATV-MX Championships |
ATVRiders.com:
It sounds like you will have a little more competition
at TQRA this year with Chase Snapp, Johnny Hale,
Thomas Brown and your brother, Cody, racing that
series. Are you worried at all?
Hunter Miller:
No. I’m actually really looking forward
to having those guys there and racing against
them. It certainly makes it more fun for me and
I’m sure the people watching will enjoy
it more with all of us going at it.
ATVRiders.com:
Who do you think your biggest competition will
be in both series’?
Hunter Miller:
I think Chase Snapp and Thomas Brown will be
my biggest competitors, but I can’t rule
out Johnny Hale or Shawn Hess either.

#90
Hunter Miller & #22 Cody Miller practicing
together in Texas |
ATVRiders.com:
Speaking of your brother: you and Cody grew
up riding and racing together. Is there a little
bit of sibling rivalry there?
Hunter Miller:
We’re pretty competitive with each other,
but I think that has helped us to get to where
we are. When we’re out practicing, we
always push each other and try different lines
and techniques to be faster and that has really
made a difference for me. Plus it’s a
whole lot of fun when I beat him!

As
a child, Hunter Miller, was nearly eaten
by a wolf when he was feeding it chips
through a fence, it grabbed ahold of his
arm & tried to pull him through the
fence, but luckily his parent's heard
his scream & rescued him before it
was too late, but he still has the scar |
ATVRiders.com:
You live on a 1000 acre farm and have your own
track. Can you tell us a little bit about your
facility?
Hunter Miller:
Well, we have our family glass making business
there, where Cody and I both help out when we
have time. As far as riding goes, we have a motocross
track that Cody and I practice on a lot and we
have tons of trails. We’ve hosted some rounds
of the TORN series and we have also hosted a couple
of the 12 Hours of America races and some other
events as well. We’ve also done a few riding
schools out here.
ATVRiders.com:
Sounds like it can get a little crazy there
at times.
Hunter Miller: Yeah a little, but it’s
all worth it to do our part in helping out the
sport.
ATVRiders.com:
You’re going to have a pretty full schedule
racing both the TQRA and TORN series’;
are you planning on attending any other events?
Hunter Miller:
I might try and hit a couple of nationals if
possible, but if not I’m not too worried
about it because I have a pretty full schedule
and my priority is defending my championships.
