i have a 400ex in need of new meats..........what's a good tire for in the woods that is light in weight?? Razr's and holeshot HD's are nice, but they are a pretty heavy tire.

I'm running Kenda Knarly's on my 300 and they seem very light and they are 6 ply so they can take the abuse. They hook up great and slide well in the corners too. They're priced right too.

I have a set of ITP HOLESHOT XCR'S
I love em $260 shipped from 4atvtires.com
I wasnt happy with 4atvtires.com customer service they sent me the wrong tires and took forever to send me the right tires
My XCR'S are a very nice tire 6 ply and lighter than the XC model and the XCT models that ITP make They hook up Insanely well on the trails I am very impressed with the ITP HOLESHOT XCR

imo the rear razr 2's are way too heavy and dont slide enough to be a good woods tire. they work great in muddy conditions tho. i like holeshots but they seem to puncture a little easy and are a little pricey. ive also had razr's, no complaints at all, they lasted a very long time and hook up and slide great. i myself have kend knarly's on the rear and kenda klaws on the front. these tires kick *****. and they cheaper than holeshots and razrs.

My Holeshot XCR's hooked up awesome on my Banshee, they seem pretty light but I have the 20's.

Razr2 all the way, it is the best tire i have ever had, yes they dont slide quite the same, you have to give it a little more attention and throttle when sliding, but as far as hooking up on all terrains, gravel, MUD, roots, and being a tough tire, the razr 2 hands down!

I have Razrs on my 300EX and have no complaints. Best Tire I've ever run. I'm sure with the 400s power, weight will not be an issue.
