sweet....
I hate that ancient floater rear end. Were they even any good? Anyone know if 91-92 A Arms n shocks will fit on it? Does elka make shocks for it?
sorry bout all the qustions, but these things have been long forgotten. Its a crusty bike right now but I think they have some potential.
Do you guys know anything about this?

Yes Elka makes shocks for the LT's.
That IRS quad is built by a guy in Canada, he sells the setup too that welds to your existing frame.

Thats a pretty sick setup. kinda makes me whonder why all sport quads dont have IRS. Colby your 100% positive that 87-90 swingarms will fit on a 85 without modification? LTandRaptorrider has a new lonestar for sale...

That IRS LT250 looks cool, anybody know how that mod affects the handling?

I rode an IRS quad for enough time to know that it is an awefull idea to even attempt unless you have the ability/technology to make some type of electronically controlled suspension to keep it from having a ton of body roll.

did you guys used to have lt's or something?

We still a a really nice 90 lt250r. Yes I am 100% sure the swingarm will fit without mods. I have built some replacement round housing swingarms for the 85-86 LT since the swingarms on them are junk, and those also bolt right up on the 87-90 lt:)
That IRS system is priced pretty high and has never been reproduced.

one last question, if I put the 87-90 swingarm on it will it get rid of that "Full Floater" rear end or will I have to keep all of the linkage? Is there any way I can get rid of the floater design?

It still uses the ful floater linkage.:)
