I've changed the oil in my 450 R hunreds of times, but this time I screwed up and put the filter in backwards.
Did not realize it until I spent a day at the dunes.
Motor is not seized, but... not good. Made very ugly sounds then would not run.
Should I rebuild or replace?

What do you mean by replace?
I say rebuild the motor complety. Vavles, piston, rods anything and everything except the crank (if its ok)
it will save you in the long run.
