Well I have just graduated the ACT 120 so now i have to go get a job being a cop. Ive got my heart set out for a SWAT or CERT team job but for now im guess im just going to have to settle for a part time police officer until i get some experience under my belt. But on the other hand im not going to be one of the d-bag cops that has it out for people on quads and dirtbike's there are enough of them in my area already. Heres a couple quick pics from the police academy.
Im in the middle of this one

Congrats!! Good Luck! I went SWAT in 2001, it is an awesome gig. Most departments will require you to be full time for AT LEAST a year before you can even try out for SWAT. Make sure you stay in shape (especially cardio), that will help you more than anything when tryouts roll around.

my home town is in need of another cop.
it pays only 20G to start, but there are no violent crimes in this small town, just lots of drugs, and welfare people beating on other family members.

On another note, Congrats man! In the fall I will hopefully be starting my criminal justice classes. I dont know exactly what I want to be, but I know what direction I want to go in. How long has it taken you to get this far and what is involved in the academy part? Cause Around here, Police academy is 6 days a week, 12 hours a day for 3 months!!! :eek2: :eek2:

thanks for the girlfriend compliment i know shes beautiful but shes all mine haha the police academy in pa is 6 months long 5 days a week and 8 hrs each day and it sucked i mean i had alotta fun but the tests were hard and if you failed 2 you were kicked out of the program so it def was hard on the mind i havent failed any thank god and i prayed to him every test but other then that there was the gun range which was a blast and we had a driving range that we needed to be tested on which included a skid pad good times there and we also had tactical self defense which was fun the rest of the time was all class work the whole program was 785 hrs and it was intense
