Just thought you Grizzly enthusiasts would like to hear this. My team and I competed in this year’s Tecate-Score Baja 500 in Ensenada Mexico. This was a grueling 441 mile race through the deserts of Baja California. The ATV classes for these kinds or races are dominated by suped-up sport quads; however this didn’t stop us from completing the race on a STOCK 2007 Grizzly 660. That’s right.. no suspension, exhaust, steering stabilizer, or anything of the sort. The Griz performed outstanding and we finished the race in 17 hours (three hours ahead of the cut off) with no problems at all (with the exception of one flat tire). We were the only utility quad entered in the race and finished 10th in our class. You can check out the results at www.score-international.com
We are prepping for the Baja 1000 as well and would love to see more Grizzly’s out there!
