Hey Guys,,, don't know what I was doing wrong but I tried to post an update reply on the post I had about loading-unloading my 4 ATV's sideways on my 16 foot trailer. When I hit "post reply" the message would disappear,,! Since I am a 2 finger type of guy,,, I'll try this route. My trailer has a top rail and the 2 Polaris just would not back in and fit so it took 2 hefty people to pick them up high enough to clear the top rail and get them in sideways. Well, when I take my grandsons to go riding, we are not able to get em all in the trailer and wound up only taking 1 of the Polaris and 2 of the Hondas and somebody had to ride double. Thats when the arguments started. After trying a few "pry bar" arrangements, I finally went with a variation of TRI5RON's idea and built a "cherry picker" type winch out of 1 1/2" pipe and welded 2 holders for the winch at 2 places on the top rail. The winch is able to swivel around in these holders. It works,,!! Now, I can back one of the Polaris as far forward as it will go, slide the winch into the front holder, winch it up to where the front wheels clear the top rail, push the front of the ATV forward to where it is sideways, let the winch down,,,,in about3 minutes,,!! By myself,,!! I have a pic of the winch on the trailer in Photobucket but can't figure out how to get it here. Hope this helps somebody here. Joe r

go to photo bucket and mouse over the picture. 4 things will come up. highlight the img code, then ctrl c, bring up your reply window for the forums and then ctrl v. It will paste the code and allow us to see the picture.

first put your pics on photobucket.

then open two windows, one for the forums, the other for photobucket.

next, put your cursor over the pic in photobucket, and it will give 4 window links. use the bottom [img] link. right click it/do a copy.

then,on the thread reply box, click your cursor in the box, then right click and hit copy.

once you do it a few times, it becomes very easy.

to put a space between the pics, just space it in the reply box.

hope this makes sence.
