I have a White Brothers E series slip on that has the the discs and one block off to force the exhaust through them. I got to looking at it after pulling it apart to repack and was wondering if I jetted the carb to match and left the block off plate off to get a more open pipe, am I going to see more power from this slip on or is the block off NEED to be there?

i tried it before and it didnt work. just made it to loud. i also tried the curved outlet endcap and that sounded like crap. i just installed 15 plates and ran it that way.

theres no point to the disks if theres no plate.....plus it sounds terrible

Darn I was hoping it would work. Guess now I wont have to waist my time to find out lol, and thinks for the input.

i forgot that i had the snuff and snot endcap and it was good. i could run 7 plates when i wanted to be quiet and then turn the screw and open it up. that worked good on the old cheese county trail. darn dnr nothing sounds better than a xr650 with a pipe on it.
