I just purchased a Wiseco 440 BigBore kit. It was supposed to be a 11:1 piston but when it arrived it said 12.5:1. I'm can't decide if I should keep it or send it back. I'm worried that I will not be able to run premium and I will have to Spend more on Race gas. Also If I put a stage 2 hotcam in will I have to worry about the valves slaping the piston?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

yeah usually anything over 11:1 u need race gas. 12.5:1 is an awfully high compression to be running in a prett ymuch stock engine. I would personally send it back, cause it wont run right on pump gas
if race gas is an issue..send the mofo back,,and the hotcam should work just fine.with no slap....

The specs on Weisco 440 pistons are wrong. A 12:1 piston is about the equivlent to a 11:1.
So I would say thats you are OK. Unless they fixed this, but I dont think they did.
If you want a second opinion on this , go read the 'Have you decked your cylinder' thread. I think thats where i read it.
