Stock Bars

Well I decided it was time to get aftermarket bars...something like Pro Taper or somethin.

I was wondering what size the stock bar is because it has the clamps or whatever to hold the bar on ... or... does the new bars come with new clamps for the correct size.

Because I do not wanna buy bars that are too big for my stock clamps...if that makes any sense!

new bars wont come with new mounts but will fit on the stock ones if they are 7/8" bars. the stockers are 7/8" too. any 1 1/8" bar will need an adaptor or new mounts. i hope that helps you out a bit. steve

the new bars will work. they come with markings on the bars to help you set them up.

Depending on your height you can kinda judge what bar you want.

Im about 6ft tall and went with protaper SE high bend. Its very close to the stock bar height and bend, only difference is the bars arent as close to your body (pull back). I find it super comfy.

if you go to rocky mountain atv you can find the measurements for everything they carry.

I'm about 6'2 so the High Bend sounds like it would be a pretty good choice...
