05 450R Carb Needle

Hey Guys, have any of you that did the 450 carb upgrade went with a diffeant needle or has everybody been using the stock 450 carb needle? Just wondering, we have a Rage ported head with oversized valves and a stage 2 cam, was just wondering if there were any differant needles available and if anybody else has tried using a differant one.

I'm running a HRC needle. It comes in a kit, part #16020-NLZ-651

Is it a differant taper then the stock needle?

Yes, the taper is much more aggressive.
