I think this virus scare was done deliberately by the government so they could get you to use a program that scans your computer for the virus.

They clamed there was 250,000 computers world wide that “could” be affected.
250,000 out of hundreds of millions of computers are very low odds. I wonder how many suckers used it.lol
I don’t think the virus was real, I thing the scare was to get you to let them legally scan your computer.

If you think about it, what better way to get millions to legally use a program that scans your computer for an imaginary virus?
The virus may have even been real in order to make it look legit.
It could be a way to install a back door into your computer that is legal and undetectable. I can imagine may reasons why they would want secret access to millions of computers world wide.

The government already has required all cell phone manufactures to install a back door on all the phones they manufacture.

On seconded thought, Bush created the Patriot Act that virtually eliminated the need for a Warrant to tap all communication sources in order to fight terrorism.

I wouldn't be surprised,

the gov't ain't acting like a gov't for the people no more, they've strayed from what this country was founded upon!

it's getting pretty serious!
