How is everyone gearing their bike for MX?
I run 18 inch rear tires and found that stock gearing for me works best,,tryed a 14 tooth,,,forget it,,15 up front maybe 16 if ya got a big motor. If anything maybe drop 2 teeth of the back,,you almost have to expereiment with the track you ride,,some tracks want different gearing compared to others.

Yeah if you run 18 inch tires then you will be fine with the stcok gearing.

thats true chris but.........
something to think about is a 14/36 which is alomost the same as a 15/38 but the smaller sprocket in the rear gives you better ground clearence.

I was thinkin' more like 16/36.

i wouldnt recomenned that if your motor is stock,
maybe if you have a 416 or a 440, but i think that too steep for a stock motor
