that big of a differnece?

Well I ahve been thinking aobut motor work and have been wondering if a 11.1 piston, lrd porting, and a xr400 cam would give me quite a bit of power with my new carb, my quesiton is will the 416 make that much of a diference or a lrd 425 kit?

i am not sure what comes in the kit. an average 426 will not have much more power over the 416. the only thing i suggest is getting a little more aggressive cam. this will make the bike open up more with a piston. if you don't like revving the bike high, then the xr cam should be fine, but for where i ride, i suggest a more aggressive cam. a more aggressive cam will benefit from the porting and carb. if you want to stick with mainly lowend power, the xr will be fine. if you like to get on it in the upper gears, i would go more aggressive. it is more personal perferance than anything.

It will make a very noticeable difference. I promise you won't be disappointed..:cool:
