Parker, AZ (1/15/2015) -
Four time consecutive Best in the
Desert Pro Quad champions, CT Racing’s
Danny Prather and David Scott came on strong
at the 2015 BITD THR Motorsports Parker 250,
clenching a solid second place finish.
Thunder storms were a threat as the ATV classes lined up for the 7:30am start, but the rain held off until the final 2 laps of the 3 lap, 240 mile race.
David Scott was the starting rider for the CT Racing team, but their starting position was dead last. “I was on the third line and I was starting all by myself. I just tried to hold a good pace for the first leg of the race before handing it over to Danny,” said David Scott.

“They did grade some of the course, so it wasn’t as rough as some sections, but there were other parts that were pretty rough and rocky, so we made a quick adjustment to our Elka shocks and they worked great out there,” stated Danny Prather.

Prather and Scott made a hard charge and were soon running in second place. The defending Pro Quad champions stayed strong despite the rain that began to fall in the final hour of the race and claimed a second place finish. “We tried to close the gap on the leaders but they had a good 5 minute lead on us. Even so, they are not going to be running the entire series so that puts us right where we need to be. Consistency is the key and that’s what we are looking for this season if we want to keep that championship,” said David Scott.

With
their second place finish, it puts the
CT Racing team of David Scott &
Danny Prather our in good position heading
into the next round, which is the Polaris
RZR UTV World Championship Desert Classic
on February 20-22nd in Laughlin, NV |
“We had a good race. We weren’t really prepared for the rain, but it was all good because it really helped to keep the dust down in the final laps. I was hoping that it would have been a little rougher than it was out there because that’s where we really shine, but it was definitely a good start to the season. We have a good program in place. We have Ricky Stator helping us out again this season along with Elka, and Roll Design. We are running the Hi Flite seat this year and that worked amazing out there.” said Danny Prather.
The next round of the 2015 BITD series for the ATV classes will be the Polaris RZR UTV World Championship Desert Classic on February 20-22nd in Laughlin, NV, where CT Racing’s David Scott and Danny Prather will be going for the win as they attempt their fifth consecutive championship.
