Lloyd grabbed the Holeshot in his first
start of the 2015 GNCC season at Unadilla.
Lloyd went on to finish in the third spot |
“I was going through the woods on the fourth
lap and I hit a tree,” said Lloyd. “I had pitted
on the third lap and I had 20-second lead coming
out of the pits. I had to pull it up a hill and
it took every bit of energy I had to get it back
on track. Once that happened they got around me.
I’m happy with the third, but I always want to
win.”
Lloyd’s new ride for 2015 are Pro racer Adam
McGill’s quad. “I purchased practice bike and
a race bike at Snowshoe,” said Lloyd. “So since
then, I’ve been riding and training to get ready
for racing. I can’t get enough of racing.”
Lloyd is pleased to be racing a Honda and is
looking for good results going into the final
three races of the GNCC season. “I love the Honda,”
said Lloyd. “I rode one of Michelle Natalie’s
Hondas a long time ago. As soon as I got on it,
I fell in love with it. They’re tough machines.”
Lloyd will be back in action October 3-4 when
GNCC hits Central City, Pa. for the Car-Mate Mountain
Ridge race, Round 11 of the 2015 GNCC racing season.
