JB Racing / Livewire ATVMX Round Nine Race Report

The first moto Sarver put in a solid ride, working his way up from a mid pack start to finish sixth. Sarver was sitting good going into the final moto, but bad luck cost him the finish he was looking for. “During the second moto, someone stalled, and I didn’t have anywhere to go, so I ended up hitting him,” said Sarver. He then charged his way back up to finish tenth for that moto and tenth place overall.

In 450 B Sarver had a very strong first moto. “My ITP tires hooked up. I got a good start and held third the entire race,” said Sarver. During the second moto, Sarver ran into troubles getting hung up on a berm, which cost him many positions. Sarver consequently ended up finishing 13th overall. Sarver now sits fourth in points in 450 B. “Going into Loretta’s, I hope to get a good finish and finish the year out strong,” said Sarver.

The number 440 of Logan Peters represents the JB Racing/Mtn Dew Livewire team in the youth classes. Peters went 11-9 in the 90 Open Jr. (8-11) class to take ninth overall. Peters also competed in the 90 Shifter (8-11) class in which he claimed 13th overall. In the 90 Open Jr., Peters is holding down ninth place in points, but he now sits just one point out of eighth.

Logan Dusenberry competed in the 450 B and Production B classes. Dusenberry put in solid motos on Saturday, but bike issues forced him to sit out the second motos on Sunday. Dusenberry still sits in the top ten in points in both 450 B and Production B.

The final round of the 2015 Mt. Dew AMA ATV Motocross National Championship will have the JB Racing/Livewire team traveling to the famous Loretta Lynn’s Ranch in Hurricane Mills, TN August 8-9th.
