JB Racing’s Jeffrey Rastrelli Takes Fourth at Unadilla

While charging through the pack in the first moto, Rastrelli’s quad suffered a minor mechanical issue and he nursed it in for a top five finish. “It was a good race; not exactly what we wanted, but we’ll take it. I didn’t get much riding in between races due to inclement weather. I was charging pretty well, but I had a breather hose come loose. So the bike was losing oil and I had to settle for fifth,” said Rastrelli.

In the second moto, Rastrelli earned a fourth-place finish to notch an overall fourth for the weekend. “I really wanted that third spot,” said Rastrelli. “I just didn’t do as well as I would have liked in the second moto.”

He recently debuted a brand new engine in his Can-Am and is ready to have it take him to the front. “We have a brand new motor with new electronics and it’s running great,” said Rastrelli.

Rastrelli is on the road to recovery from this shoulder injury, which is close to being 100% besides some lose in strength. He is looking to get on the podium at the final two rounds of the season “I’ll be back home training till I leave for Michigan. We’ll be ready for RedBud.”

Rastrelli heads to RedBud MX in Buchanan, MI for Round 9 of the Mt. Dew AMA ATV Motocross National Championship July 25-26th.
