Tempe, AZ (2/12/2015) - Pro Motorsports’ Matt Hancock took on the rough conditions at Buffalo Bill’s in Primm, NV and charged his way to the podium in both the Pro-am and Open A ATV classes at round number two of the 2015 WORCS Racing Series.

Tough conditions were on hand for the weekend’s races with deep ruts and rocks but Matt Hancock was ready for the challenge. Hancock was in third off the dead engine start of the Pro-am class and stayed on the gas. “My Sparks motor fired right up and my Maxxis tires hooked up great in the sand and I just took off,” said Hancock.

By the second lap, Hancock was able to take over the number two spot and hold his position all the way to the checkered flag despite getting a flat tire. “My Tire Blocks worked great out there. I had a flat and didn’t even know it and still got on the podium. That’s two second places in a row, but I will take it. I am on the podium and that’s what counts and gets me closer to the championship at the end of the season,” said Hancock.

Hancock also took a second place finish in the Open A class. “I was third off the start again and just kind of rode my own race. My Elka shocks let me push hard for the whole race and my Flexx bars really helped with as rough as it was out there. I just want to stay consistent and stay on the podium,” said Hancock, who is the points leader in the Open A class.

In the SxS Pro class, Matt Hancock was towards the back off the start but put in a good charge and worked his way up for a sixth place finish. “I had a decent start in the Pro class but I dropped back. I started picking people off again and was able to finish in sixth. I took eighth at the last round so we are getting better. My Can-Am worked great out there and my Elka suspension worked awesome. I am really happy to have them on board,” said Hancock.

Hancock also raced in the SxS Unlimited class and had a good start. Hancock worked his way up to the number two spot but a belt issue sent him back for a seventh place finish. “The Unlimited class was fun. I was running in fourth and worked up to third and moved into second from there. I was having a great run, but I think I pushed a little too hard and burned up a belt. I think we are going to come back and do well for the next round. We are hoping to debut the new Can-Am Turbo in Peoria and I can’t wait to show people what it can do,” stated Hancock.

Round three of the 2015 WORCS series will head to Canyon MX in Peoria, AZ on February 27-March 1, where Matt Hancock will be going for the top of the podium.
