Block's Matt Hancock Takes Open A Win |
“I took the lead in the second corner in
the Pro Am race, but I got caught with 45
minutes left and had a great battle for the
lead,” said Matt Hancock. “My bike worked
great. The Maxxis tires were ripping in the
sand. I’m stoked to get my first Open A win
here and to finish second in points. I guess
I just keep getting second. Maybe next year
I can get to the top.”
In UTV competition, Matt Hancock finished
out the season top three in the Unlimited
class where he finished four times on the
podium. “The Can-Am turbo is just so fast,”
said Hancock. “Can-Am was great this year,
and it was a great experience to race this
car.”

In the ATV Pro Race, Jeff Hancock had an
adventure. A recovery strap came loose on
his ATV on the third lap of the race, got
caught up in the rear brake caliper and ripped
it off the swingarm. Hancock nursed his ATV
home with no rear brakes to finish sixth.
He finished sixth in Pro ATV points this year
“We finished with no rear brakes,” explained
Jeff Hancock. “I had a good time today. I
pushed as hard as I could with no rear brakes.
I feel like I did pretty well this season
after taking five years off.”
Pro Motorsports will return to WORCS competition
in 2016 ready for more victories and hungry
for a championship.
