La Crosse, WI (5/23/2015) - Root
River Racing’s Megan Manshack claimed her
third straight win in the Women’s class at
round four of the 2015 Mt. Dew AMA ATV Motocross
Championships at High Point Raceway, while Dylan
Tremellen claimed second in Pro Sport and Brandon
O’Neill took the win in Supermini.
Conditions were good for Saturday’s motos, but rain moved in and made for some muddy conditions on Sunday. The weekend also had its fair share of ups and downs for the team with Noah Mickelson being involved in a bad crash in the Schoolboy Sr. class and Logan Tremellen crashing as well.
Noah Mickelson is back home and resting comfortably
but will be out indefinitely due to his injuries,
and Logan Tremellen is still in the hospital at
this time and will undergo another surgery on
Friday. Root River Racing wishes both of these
riders a full and quick recovery.

Megan Manshack continued to dominate in the Women’s class with two moto wins and the overall, which has now put her in the points lead. “I got both moto holeshots and the wins. This is my third consecutive win and that puts me in the points lead. I am so excited. I didn’t think I would be able to make many of the motocross rounds due to the GNCC, but with the support of my family, fiancé, my team and my sponsors, I have been able to make the last three and hopefully the rest,” said Manshack.
Despite everything that was going on with his brother, Dylan Tremellen was in top form for the weekend and claimed a second place finish in the Pro Sport class with 1-4 finishes and finished eighth overall in the Pro-am class.

“High point was a very tough weekend for me. My little brother has some
health issues that we are dealing with that has had him in the hospital over the weekend and for the next few weeks, so it was tough. I did win the first moto in the Pro sport class and finished second overall, which I am happy about. In Pro-am I went over the bars in the first moto and finished 12th, but I came back and got third in moto two for eighth overall,” said Tremellen.
Brandon O’Neill had a good weekend in the Supermini class and claimed the overall win after 5-2 finishes.
“Everything went good for me and I was able to come away with the win in Supermini,” said O’Neill.
O’Neill also did well in the 90 Shifter Sr. class with 2-3 finishes for second overall. In the 90 Open Sr. class, where he grabbed the moto one holeshot and finished second, but a rock in his wheel put him in 11th for moto two, but he still earned sixth overall.
“It was a pretty good weekend for me, and I have to thank Root River for their support, so I can go racing. I also want to give my best to both Logan and Noah, and I hope they get better soon,” said O’Neill.
Johannah Vossman put together two solid motos in the Schoolgirl class with 5-2 finishes for third overall. “It was a lot of fun. I had good starts and we had some good battles out there. It was wet and muddy for Sunday, but I still got third overall and I am happy for that,” said Vossman, who also raced the Youth All Star class and rounded out the top ten overall.
