David Plavi Wraps up AWRCS UTV Pro Open Championship

Bloomingdale,OH (9/28/2015) - Steve Matko piloted the Wicked Bilt backed Maverick, to a commanding win! Starting off well Matko entered the woods in 2nd place behind his Can Am teammate, Kyle Chaney. Once Matko over took the lead from Chaney, there was no looking back. Matko set some blistering fast lap times, stretching his lead to over 2 minutes by the time the checkers flew! Matko said “ The OffroadMotorsports Wickedbilt Can-Am, was a rocketship on rails, today, the freshly tuned PR2 suspension, and GBC Mongrel tires were the perfect combination for the win”

Dave Plavi had a challenging time, working the 591 Maverick to a podium finish, by the time he took the checkered flag! Plavi was a victim of the first turn incident which put him near the back of the 17 car field, going into the woods! Plavi strategically moved the Wicked Bilt Canam 591 maverick, through the field methodically, finally getting into position on the final lap, to drop the hammer and run the Offroadmotorsports prepared Canam to its full potential! Plavi was able to pick off 2 more positions, to earn the 3rd place bragging rights! Not only did the Wicked Bilt team double up on the podium, they won the 2015 AWRCS Pro Open UTV Championship, with Dave Plavi’s stellar season, of 3 wins, and 4 podiums, never finishing outside of the top 4 all season!

Plavi gave much of the credit for his Championship season to his team, “ great sponsors, awesome tracks, and a great racing series!” Look for the entire Offroadmotorsports’ Wicked Bilt Can Am team at the final 2 GNCC UTV races, and at the SRRS finals next weekend in Hot Springs Arkansas. These guys have a shot at wrapping up 2 more national champion-ships, before the years end!

Dave Plavi looks to keep the momentum rolling into this upcoming weekend, for Round 3 of the GNCC UTV racing at the “Mountaineer” Masontown WV, where Plavi will be driving Offroadmotorsports’ Wickedbilt/Can-Am 555 Maverick XXC. Dave holds the 2nd spot in points for the XC2 Pro division, in the GNCC series.
