Phoenix, AZ (2/12/2014) - Lonestar/JRi’s David Flores took his second consecutive win in the Production A class at round two of the 2015 WORCS series in Primm, NV this weekend.

Buffalo Bill’s was the hosting facility where rough conditions greeted racers and put both man and machine to the test, but the Production A points leader was ready for action on Saturday. Flores didn’t get the start he was looking for in the Production A class, but he took some creative lines and took the lead. “It was amazing. I didn’t get a good start, but I took a different line and got out front. The track was rough and choppy and unpredictable, especially since we had the bikes out there in some of our section as well,” said Flores.

Despite the rough conditions, Flores stayed out front, even after losing his header pipe in the final lap. “Suspension and set up was key out there today. My Lonestar/JRi suspension worked great and my Goldspeed tires really hooked up. I can’t thank my sponsors enough for getting me set up so well. It feels great to be in the points lead and I am looking for another win next round,” said Flores.

Flores’ strong performance in the Production A class, taking back to back wins, has given him a six point lead over second place and good head start to defending his current championship status. “The competition is tough out there but I am going to stay focused and do my best to carry the momentum forward and win another championship,” said Flores.

Unfortunately, Flores wasn’t as lucky during Sunday’s Pro-am race. “I didn’t have the best start and was in about fourth or fifth and noticed something was wrong when I couldn’t shift. I ended up having to stay in fourth and fifth gear. I stayed out there and finished in order to salvage points and now we are going to go home and get everything fixed and ready for round three,” said Flores.
