Masontown, WV (10/21/2015) - The Polaris/Coastal/CST/Yokley Racing team captured three top-five finishes at round five of the GNCC Side-by-Side Championship in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Saturday. With a total lineup of 70 Side-by-Side machines at Powerline Park, team driver William Yokley and his passenger—and wife—Tina had their work cut out for them as they began the race on row four. The duo quickly set a fast pace aboard the Polaris RZR S 900 as they climbed up to eighth place around the mid-way point after starting the race just inside the top 15.

On lap four, Yokley turned his fastest lap of the race, which ultimately led him to the battle for a top-five position with two laps to go. From there, the Kentucky native put on a charge to move into the fourth place position, where they finished only 11 seconds off the overall podium.

“The car was working flawlessly out there, we couldn’t have asked for better equipment to help us charge through the pack,” Yokley said. “The woods were pretty tight in sections but everything from the Elka Suspension to the CST tires helped the Polaris RZR S 900 hook up and get through those challenging places.”

In the XC2 Pro Sport division, team driver Sean Bogdan began on row six of the highly competitive class, while teammate John Henry lined up on row seven behind him aboard the Polaris RZR S 900. Bogdan came through on the opening lap in sixth place and he only went up from there as he moved into the lead position by lap three. Bogdan engaged in a battle for the lead with Polaris-mounted driver Chris Brockway, who made the pass back for the lead on the final lap, leaving Bogdan to finish in a close second at round five. With one round remaining, Bogdan sits only six points out of first place in the XC2 Pro Sport Championship.

The GNCC Side-by-Side Championship returns to action Saturday, Oct. 31 in Crawfordsville, Indiana for the season finale Ironman GNCC. For more information on the team, please visit www.yokleyracing.com.
