With a brand new Duncan Racing engine and fresh Elka shocks, Fuller hit the tough Lake Havasu track hard, running consistently in the top five. He knows a podium is just around the corner. He just has to train harder.
“There’s no reason I shouldn’t be on the box,” said Fuller. “I came into the race thinking I could pound out an hour and a half, and I just couldn’t. My track at home is up and running, so I’m ready to run. I have a good program, so the next race should be better.
“I was really pushing hard for the first four laps, but if I had tried to keep that pace, I wouldn’t have had anything left for the end,” added Fuller. “I backed off and hoping to the top three would fade at the end. I was catching them, but I couldn’t push any harder to get past. I’m happy with fourth, especially the way my season has been going; baby steps, I guess.”

Kyle Fuller fought injury and the intense heat to record the top five in the Pro Am race. “The tires hooked up great and the Duncan motor fired right up at the start,” said Fuller. “I’m just having trouble getting warmed up before the race and the first few laps I just struggle. After that, I was just so far behind that I was playing a catch-up game. I was charging back to third and I hit a whoops wrong and twisted my knee. Everything was working well, but I just need to figure out how to warm up. I have the ability to do it, but the first couple laps are a problem.”
Kyle Fuller’s fifth-place finish in the A Class race was also tough. But he is building toward bigger and better finishes in the future. “I was dead last off the start, but my bike was working great and I almost made it to fourth place,” said Fuller. “I just couldn’t get warmed up on those first few laps. This was a building experience. Every block I put in place is building me to where I want to be. The Elka Suspension and Roll Design Parts were just perfect. I just need to work on me.”
Duncan Racing’s Garrin and Kyle Fuller will return to the WORCS Series as it heads to Utah’s Sand Hollow April 15-17th.
