Racing's Garrin Fuller made his way through the dust to finish fourth |
Garrin Fuller was running in the top five all race. With dusty conditions in full force, he ran a conservative pace and overcame a stuck shift lever to record the top five. He sits fourth in points just 11 points out of third.

“The track was super dusty and the first two or three laps were really sketchy,” said Fuller. “I stuck with them as long as I could, but I was getting off track and hitting bushes, so I backed off a little bit. Then I came into the pits and a rock got stuck between my shifter and the frame and the transmission was stuck in into third. I was kicking it, but it didn’t come loose until I got into the sand whoops section. It was just a fluke thing. From there it was shifting harshly.”

which will require surgery over the
summer break |
Kyle Fuller was here supporting his brother. He suffered wrist and throat injuries at Sand Hollow and is still healing.
“The wrist still hurts a lot,” said Fuller. “I had an MRI on the wrist, and I should know something when we get back. The good news is my throat is completely healed, and I hope to be back racing at Glen Helen.”
The WORCS Series takes its annual summer break followed by a return to action September 16-18 at Glen Helen MX in Devore, CA where the Fullers are certain to be the brothers to beat.
