Palm City, FL (6/23/2016) – JB Racing’ Jeffrey Rastrelli did not have the weekend he was counting on at the seventh round of the 2016 AMA ATV Motocross National Championship at Sunset Ridge MX in Walnut, IL. Rastrelli put in a fantastic first moto, but with three laps to go in moto two, he became sick, which took him out of the race.

“In moto one I had to pass quite a few riders. I ended up catching Natalie and getting around him for third. The top guys were gapping me out a little, so I just held a steady third, and it was a good moto for me for sure,” explained Rastrelli.

In the second moto, a dead last start forced Rastrelli to work his way up from the back of the pack, which he did a phenomenal job at until the sickness set in. “Everything was going great. I went to fifth and the pass for fourth would have given me the podium spot. With three laps to go, I started regurgitating and it took me out of the moto,” said Rastrelli.

Despite the disappointing finish, Rastrelli is thankful for each and every sponsor that has stood by his side. “My PEP suspension was great as usual and the Goldspeed tires were hooking up. It is just something wrong physically with me. I am going to take care if it and get myself healed over the next few weeks.”

Rastrelli will return to the 2016 AMA ATV Motocross National Championship in round eight at Spring Creek MX in Millville, MN July 2-3.
