Ray Bulloch Takes Two Podiums at Terracross Finale
Ray Bulloch Finishes Fourth Overall in Terracross Championship

Cedar City, UT (10/5/2016) - ATVriders’ Ray Bulloch scored two podiums en route to finishing fourth in the Mystik Lubricants Terracross Championship. In his rookie season of Terracross competition the WORCS racer quickly came up to speed, finishing third in round 3 and closing out the season with a runner-up finish in round 5. In the end, he missed third in the title chase by just two points.

“We were really close to the podium in the championship,” said Bulloch. “I spent all season trying to get used to racing the stock RZR. That’s what’s fun about Terracross; everyone is running the same equipment. A lot of the guys that pushed it too hard didn’t finish.”

Bulloch was pleased with his first season of Terracross competition. Bulloch is a busy racer, running WORCS, Lucas Oil and several local series this season.

“It felt good to know I could get on the box here in Terracross,” said Bulloch. “We’ve finished on the podium this year in every discipline of racing we’ve done.”

Though the Polaris RZRs are virtually bone stock in Terracross, racers are allowed to update certain safety and driver comfort parts. In the final three rounds, Bulloch used a new seat provided by Super ATV. He said it made all of the difference.

“Hubert at Super ATV let me use a seat and it made a big difference for me this weekend,” said Bulloch. “My legs were really moving around and ended up popping the shifter out of gear in the first race. That’s what I love about the camaraderie in the Terracross series. Racers are always helping other racers.”

The final rounds were held outside Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, NC. With heavy rain the week prior to the event, the track was rough and muddy. Bulloch quickly came out to speed.

“I’m a West Coast desert boy and there was a lot of mud here,” said Bulloch. “I learned how to drive in the mud and it was just about finishing this weekend. We were all fighting some of the same issues and it was nice to overcome and get two podiums.”

Bulloch returns to the WORCS series as it contests it season finale October 22 at Buffalo Bills Resort and Casino in Primm, NV.
