Cedar City, UT (9/8/2016)
- ATVriders.com / Super ATV’s Ray Bulloch
will make his debut in the TerraCross Championship
series at the 2016 season opener at the Sno
Barons Hay Days in North Branch, MN. The September
10-11th double header racing weekend kicks
off a marathon for Bulloch, which also includes
a return to WORCS racing, and the Lucas Oil
Short Course Series, as well as a full TerraCross
Championship effort.
HCR Racing’s Ray Bulloch, who is in close
contention for both the WORCS Pro Stock and
Pro Unlimited championships, decided to run
Terracross Championship after winning both
classes earlier this year at WORCS Round 3
in Las Vegas. The South Point track mimicked
the technical nature of TerraCross racing.

race earlier this season |
“In talking to some of the guys who run Terracross,
they said it’s very similar to their format,”
explained Bulloch. “Winning both Pro races
there put in my mind that it’s something we’re
good at. It’ll be fun, either way. Even if
we don’t come out on top, it will be a good
experience.”
Bulloch’s sponsors have been a huge help
for him this year. He’s giving back by creating
videos for each event in which he competes.
“I have to take my hat off to ATVRiders.com
for getting me in there and sponsoring my
car, as well as (TerraCross Promoter) Joe
Duncan working with me,” said Bulloch. “Everything
is looking up. The sport is growing and I’m
just excited to be a part of it. We’ll be
posting videos online after each TerraCross
and WORCS races to get our sponsors the kind
of exposure they deserve. They put in so much
hard work to help us out. Dan Harvell and
and MavTV have been working on something for
next year. Things are looking good and we
hope we can be involved.”
The TerraCross Championship kicks off a staggering
six rounds of racing in eight weeks. After
the TerraCross opener, Bulloch will then head
to California for the Glen Helen WORCS event.
Then the travel schedule gets really busy
with the next round of Terracross Racing in
North Carolina on October 1-2nd.
“I do my best under pressure,” said Bulloch.
“If you put my back against the wall, I come
out swinging. We have done that a lot this
year. We were racing at a local race with
my kids, then we leave for Hay Days. Then
it’s out to Glen Helen for the WORCS race.
Finally we have a Lucas Oil event right after
that. Then back to TerraCross and WORCS in
Primm. In two months we have one weekend off
the rest. I work hard to surround myself with
the best people in the industry. We have the
team in place to put in a good showing for
everyone involved.”
The 50th Anniversary Hay Days will mark Bulloch’s
first visit to the event. In fact, it will
be his first ever visit to Minnesota.
“I’m looking forward to Hay Days and checking
out some things I haven’t seen,” said Bulloch.
“I think it’s going to be a good experience
all the way around.”
And if anyone can handle the pressure, it’s
certain to be Ray Bulloch.
