Ray Bulloch, a veteran WORCS competitor, took on the challenging and technical Terracross track with ease. In the first race, he diced his way up to third before a front drive problem slowed him in the end.

“I was running third for three or four laps, but I blew a front diff,” said Bulloch. “Being in the top five for my first time out is pretty good. These cars are completely stock, so it took some time for me to get used to how the car handles. We’re getting it down and hopefully we can come back and improve from here.”
The qualifying order was inverted for the second race and Bulloch had his work cut out for him. After starting at the back of the pack, Bulloch charged through the chaotic race to another fifth-place finish.

“There was definitely a lot more carnage than the first race,” explained Bulloch. “You can’t go full bore for the whole race. I had three really good laps and then my car started popping out of gear. I tried to play catch up and on this course that will bite you. All in all, for my first experience, we did well. We had fun, so that’s really what matters.”
Bulloch returns to the WORCS series as it heads to Glen Helen Raceway in California September 16-18.
