Cedar City, UT (1/15/2016)
- Ray Bulloch overcame adversity and led every
lap of the WORCS Pro Stock Side by Side race
at Honolulu Hills Raceway. He backed up his
win with a second-place finish in Pro SxS
Unlimited class, running one of the few cars
in the field without a turbocharger.
In Pro Stock SxS class, Ray Bulloch started on the third row in his Polaris RZR and against all odds grabbed the holeshot. He checked out on the field from start was never challenged.

Pro Stock SxS Win to kick off the WORCS
season at Honolulu Hills Raceway |
“I pulled a good start and pretty much checked out from there,” said Bulloch. “It seemed like everything was working well and it’s nice to start the rhythm of the year out with a win.”
“It paid off doing the Unlimited Race,” added Bulloch. “I found some good lines in the rough places and that’s really what got it done. There was carnage everywhere, so it was really all about lines today. This gives us first pick on the line in the next race and I’m looking forward to bringing that momentum forward.”
In Pro Unlimited, Bulloch took the lead in the latter stages of the race, but fell to second on the final lap when his car shut off. Interestingly, Bulloch is racing one of the few naturally aspirated cars in a field full of turbochargers.

his Polaris RZR in the SxS Pro Unlimited
Class on the way to claiming a second
place finish |
“This race was nuts,” explained
Bulloch. “Trying to run with these turbos
with a built motor is tough. We had a good
run. I took the lead, but the car starting
shutting off on the last lap. It was fun,
so that’s all that matters. Racing against
the turbos means I have to be a driver.”

Meanwhile, Bulloch’s children were
carrying on the family racing tradition. Skyler
Bulloch finished second in the Side by Side
Production 700 race. Stockton Bulloch nabbed
a fourth-place finish in Side by Side Youth
250 Production. Look for these two as they
graduate through the side by side racing ranks.
